Women Sprint win to Roiseland of Norway
Once again the Norwegian athlete stepped up to the top of the podium in NMNM today. Marte Olsbu Roiseland claimed her first season win in the Women Sprint. Czech female biathletes did not make it into the best positions.
Three-time Olympic champion from Beijing and reigning World Cup Total Score winner Marte Olsbu Röiseland celebrated her first WC triumph after returning to the competitions in January. Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold stayed 20.5 seconds behind with one miss on the shooting range ,France’s Anais Chevalier-Bouchet finished nine seconds back with the same shooting score.
The Czech number one Markéta Davidová missed two times, crossing the finish line 25,3 seconds behind Top 10. Only Jessica Jislová shot 10/10.
Once again, the atmosphere was excellent today with 19 600 fans cheering on the stadium and alongside the tracks.
