Another exceptional performance from the Bö brothers!

The Norwegian duo continues to dominate the World Cup in NMNM. Johannes and Tarjei both took the same positions in today’s Pursuit as in yesterday’s Sprint. Once again there was an outstanding atmosphere in the fully sold out Vysočina Arena.

After claiming the Discipline Globe for Sprint, Johannes Thingnes Bö added another exceptional win, crossing the finish line more than 30 seconds ahead of his brother Tarjei. Martin Ponsiluoma of Sweden finished third. The best of Czech athletes – Michal Krčmář finished 16th with four misses on the shooting range.

Medal ceremony – men

The current Total Score leader Johannes Thingnes Bö did not let anyone to get closer to him. He shot 0+0 in prone, increasing his lead to his older brother to almost a minute. After that he missed one each in standing, but he still managed to stay in the front of the field.

The fight for third place was far behind. Despite five misses on the shooting range, Martin Ponsiluoma of Sweden finished third with the fastest course time of today. He had a one minute gap behind the winner at finish.
