Following today’s win, Johannes Thingnes Bö has officially claimed the Sprint Discipline Globe. It was pretty much decided ahead of the competition, since his only rival and team mate Sturla Holm Laegreid had to leave Nove Mesto due to illness.

“I really wanted to shoot clean here today. I like the tracks, I like the sound here, I love this place”, the winner said after the competition. He also added on the team’s success: “We were good shooters today, but we ski good as well. As a team, it could not be any better.”
