France takes Mixed Relay Win
Team France with Jeanmonnt, Colombo, Perrot and Claude dominated the Mixed Relay on the final day of the World Cup in NMNM. Sweden finished second and Norway third, starting without the Bö brothers, who did not feel well after Saturday’s competition. The Czech quartet took seventh place at the finish.
The French stood out especially in shooting, using only eight spare bullets. Sweden had to use 18 and Norway 16. While team France was the fastest one on the shooting range, Sweden and Norway (+31.2 s) gained their advantage to other teams on the tracks.
The Czech Relay finished seventh with one penalty loop and 15 spare bullets. It was the anchorman Tomáš Mikyska who managed to improve the final position from 8th to 7th at the last lap when he overtook Harald Lemmerer of Austria.
